Description:

*Supplies food and non-food products to qualified partner agencies for distribution to the needy, sick and young; does not provide services directly to individual clients, except for the Backpack Program
*Second Helpings Program coordinates pick-ups from businesses with perishable food and distributes to agencies that serve the hungry at on-site feeding programs
*Seniors Grocery Program provides a bag of groceries at end of the month to low-income elderly through various agencies
*Partners with other organizations to supply and distribute food during disasters
*Children's Programs: Backpack provides children with meals each Friday to ensure nutritional needs are met over the weekend; contact Shannon Piotrowski (850) 562-3033, Ext 214 or spiotrowski@fightinghunger.org; Summer Food offers a nutritious meal and snack during summer months at sponsored sites; Afterschool meals helps feed children at participating churches and community centers

*Mobile Pantry directly delivers food to areas of high need
