Description:

*Helps resolve prescription problems for persons who have the Medicaid Family Planning Waiver or straight Medicaid or Medicaid Share of Cost (aka Medically Needy) or any form of Medicaid that is Not a Managed Medical Assistance MMA Plan (formerly known as a Medicaid HMO)
*For Medicaid Family Planning Waiver issues: the pharmacy may need to enter "Code 6" under the Medicaid Certification in their billing system
*Can be used by the caller or pharmacy staff when there is difficulty getting a prescription filled that the caller believes should be covered by Medicaid
*Can also provide caller with their Medicaid ID number if needed
*Call center is Not for persons on a Managed Medical Assistance MMA Plan; those persons need to call their plan provider for any prescription issues
